Kashmir fest to screen ‘Gray Umbrella’

Iran short film ‘Gray Umbrella‘ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 3rd edition of Kashmir world film Festival.

Directed by Mohmmad Poustindouz, the flick is to attend the great film event in Kashmir.

Based on a loose adaptation of a short story by Argentinean writer Fernando Sorrentino, called ‘There's a Man in the Habit of Hitting me on the Head with an Umbrella’, the ‘Gray Umbrella’ is the story of a man with a bad habit, until a man with an umbrella enters his life.

So far, the film has succeeded to win the Best Short Film award at the 40th edition of USA Film Festival.

Kashmir World Film Festival is organized twice in a year by ACT (Actors’ Creative Theatre). It is built around film movement and associated activities to create & explore a platform for the film makers, activists, students, scholars and people who love films.

The 3rd edition of the event is slated for June 19-25, 2018, in Srinagar, Kashmir.
